About Me

Hi, I’m Katy — a graphic designer with a background in photography and a passion for creating meaningful, engaging and visually compelling designs.

My creative journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Photography, which helped me develop a strong understanding of visual composition, colour, storytelling and attention to detail. I later expanded my skills through more than seven years of experience as a self-taught graphic designer, followed by a Diploma of Graphic Design from TAFE, completed in 2023.

I enjoy exploring the connection between imagery, design and communication, and I’m passionate about creating designs that are not only visually appealing but also purposeful and effective. My experience includes branding and identity design, print and digital design, web content, advertising, motion graphics and animation.

As technology and the creative industry continue to evolve, I believe that learning should never stop. I’m always looking for opportunities to develop my skills, explore new ideas and stay up to date with emerging design trends and technologies.
